HD DVD Discs

HD DVD or High Definition DVD are optical discs developed to enable burning and playing High-Definition video (HD), or to store data. HD DVD players are backwards compatible with the current DVD discs, which means that users can play both HD DVD and DVD discs on a single HD DVD player. HD DVDs can be single-layer (15GB of data) or dual-layer (30GB of data).
